No problems at all with the horse manure, just make sure it is in fact well rotted. Its a great addition to compost.

Clearly late to the chilli party, as I’ve only just stumbled upon you channel.
I’ve had some success growing Jalapeno, Anaheim, and Habanero to name a few.
I generally use all purpose compost and chilli feed. a question if I may. I’m thinking of using well rotted horse manure mixed with my compost and the addition of vermiculite.

any issues I may encounter?

Hi, i followed your potting mix but I didn’t read it properly and used a compost with nutrients in it already ( john innes multi purpose, not great I know) should I leave off the fish blood and bone and manure for further pot ups?

In reply to David Foster. Hi David, I build out my own feed. But a great option is to use Chilli Focus, or even a good quality tomato feed.

Hi can you let me know what if any do you feed you chillies plants with throughout the growing season? At present I use BioBizz grow and then BioBizz bloom.
