Jamapeño is a sweet jalapeño chilli jam with a kick. The chilli gives you a quick burst of heat on the tongue, then it fades away fairly fast, which makes it very moreish. Ginger sits underneath with a gentle warmth.
How hot is it?
It’s 2 out of 5 on our heat scale. The heat comes quickly and doesn’t linger.
How to use it
I love it on a juicy burger, a toasted sandwich or with cheese and crackers. It’s also a good one to put out with a Christmas cheeseboard.
Storage
Refrigerate after opening. It tastes better cold, so I keep mine in the fridge anyway.
